You are invited to the launch of the Greening Medstead campaign, which aims to reduce our village's carbon footprint by supporting residents and businesses in taking simple steps to reduce energy consumption and waste - whilst saving money at the same time!
At the launch you will be given the opportunity to participate in the campaign by pledging to take a number of small, simple and inexpensive actions from a list of 10 challenges, which are being distributed to every household in the village.
The benefits of each of these initiatives will be demonstrated in a fun and informative way by local organisations, businesses and residents, each of whom have volunteered to champion one of the challenges.
Any household completing 50% of the challenges will be asked to make their card visible to the road by Wednesday, 1st July so an audit can be completed. The resulting CO2 saved by Medstead will be published at the Village Fête, on Saturday, 11th July.
