FOSAC Call My Wine Bluff Evening:
Come and see if you can tell which wine expert is telling the truth about the wines to be sampled. Teams will be asked to taste a wine and then listen to three experts describing the wine tasted, but only one will be telling the truth. It is then up to your team to work out who has told the truth before moving on to the next wine.

Medstead Annual Parish Meeting:
All residents of the Parish and members of the congregation are welcome to attend our annual Parish meeting.
Responsibility for running and maintaining the Church is delegated to Churchwardens and the Parochial Church Council (PCC). At the Annual Parochial Church Meeting the PCC present their annual report and Churchwardens and members of the PCC are elected.
Anyone on the Electoral Roll is eligible to vote. If you would like to nominate someone to be a Churchwarden for the year, or a member of the PCC, then nomination forms are available. Please contact one of the Churchwardens.

Benefice Rogation Worship Walk, Tea and Service
Come and help beat the bounds with a walk through our Benefice's beautiful countryside, whilst holding a service at the same time!
The Rogation Walk will start at Lasham Church at 3pm, and at suitable points along the way, by ponds, in the woodlands or fields we will pause for prayer and hymns. Then, around half-way, we will stop for a refreshing tea in Shalden.
Walkers will need boots and to be in good voice! |

For the third year running St. Andrew's will be holding a hog roast and cider evening. This year, because of the repairs to the church roof, and by kind permission of Sue Willson, it will be held in the garden of the Castle Of Comfort, behind the church.
It is a not to be missed evening, so why not make up a party and enjoy good food and excellent cider on a summer's evening in the open. There will also be a bouncy castle for the children.

A traditional celebration and thanksgiving for one and all in the village, so bring the family young and old.
Menu: includes gammon, sausages, baked potatoes, salad or cheese and tuna for non-meat eaters.
Fruit pies, fruit crumble or fresh fruit salad.
Please bring your own crockery, cutlery and drinks.
There will be entertainment after the food.
Tickets: are £3.00 for adults and £1.50 for children and are available from the Handy Stores or Sarah Delany.

Before the Harvest Supper we shall be reaping the Talents, the funds raised by taking £10 from Mary Spinks (01420 561440) and making it grow for the Church.
Last year's Talents raised over £1,250 for St Andrew's and included jam making, coffee mornings, cream teas as well as simple donations. |

Carols On The Green: Bentworth
Carol singing on the Village Green, opposite the Star Inn, is a family occasion, lasting about an hour, with everyone welcome to join in or just watch.
Mulled wine and other beverages, produced by The Star, will be on sale to keep the spirits up and lubricate the voices!
This will be followed by traditional carol singing around the village, collecting for a Christmas charity.
You may join this group either at the Village Green or en route.
Please bring a lantern or torch, wrap up warmly and wear and light, reflecting clothing where possible. |
