The village Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 7.00pm. Followed by: A Christmas Carol Service, conducted by the Rector, Ben Flenley. Father Christmas arrives Mulled wine, soft drinks and mince pies. |

| Friday, 17th | Carols On The Green: Bentworth Carol singing on the Village Green, opposite the Star Inn, is a family occasion, lasting about an hour, with everyone welcome to join in or just watch. Mulled wine and other beverages, produced by The Star, will be on sale to keep the spirits up and lubricate the voices! This will be followed by traditional carol singing around the village, collecting for a Christmas charity. You may join this group either at the Village Green or en route. Please bring a lantern or torch, wrap up warmly and wear and light, reflecting clothing where possible. |
