Location

Our church is located in the centre of the village of Medstead, in North-East Hampshire, England, on a triangle of raised land bordered by Wield Road, Castle Street and Church Lane:

Medstead is about 15 miles East of Winchester, 5 miles West of Alton and 12 miles South-East of Basingstoke.

Directions

From A339 Alton

Turn left off the A339, taking the road signposted Beech, Thedden and Medstead. Follow Medstead Road through Beech village and up Kings Hill. As you reach the top of the hill, continue along this road past Alton Abbey on the right and Jardinique on the left, then on into Medstead. The road bends sharply left into Hussell Lane then, at the village green, becomes the High Street. Follow the High Street past the Handy Stores and Medstead Hardware on the left. The church lies on Wield Road, which starts at the end of the High Street, immediately after the right turn into Church Lane.

From A339 Basingstoke

Turn right off the A339 at the Lasham crossroads, taking the road signposted Bentworth and Medstead. Follow this road uphill into Bentworth village. At the mini roundabout by the Star Inn take the first exit. Continue on this road, past Hall Farm and the duckpond on the left, through Holt End, downhill past Medstead Grange Equestrian Centre, then up Trinity Hill. The church lies at the top of Trinity Hill, as the road bends right into Church Lane.

From A31 Farnham

Just beyond the Peugeot Garage in Four Marks, turn right off the A31 into Boyneswood Road, signposted Medstead. Continue over the Watercress Line railway bridge, the highest point of the line as it goes "Over The Alps". The road turns left down Red Hill. At the bottom of the hill, at Redhill Farm, turn right into Roe Downs Road, signposted Medstead. Follow this road up into the village, past the Medstead Lawn Tennis Club and Medstead Church Of England Primary School on the left. Just after it crosses the village green, the road ends at a T-junction. Turn left into the High Street. The church lies on Wield Road, which starts at the end of the High Street, immediately after the right turn into Church Lane.

From A31 Winchester

After entering Four Marks the A31 goes downhill. At the bottom of the hill turn left into Lymington Bottom Road, signposted Medstead. Follow this road under the Watercress Line railway bridge and into Medstead. Continue past TDS Saddlers, Mansfield Park Surgery and the Medstead United Reformed Church on the left. After a sharp right and left bend the road passes the village football pitch on the right and ends at a T-junction. Turn left into the High Street. The church lies on Wield Road, which starts at the end of the High Street, immediately after the right turn into Church Lane.
